Born and raised in Taiwan, Wanson Wang (王善) has an academic background in literature and European studies from National Taiwan University, where he learnt English and French, as well as Polish at an elementary level. 

Wanson started his career at Rti in 2023 as the host of As a Student. Currently, he heads Rti's English Service and hosts the weekly film show Cinematic Motif, which earned an AIBs 2024 shortlist nomination for one of its feature interviews. 

Over the years, he has worked across various media platforms, including National Education Radio, Public Television Service, FTV News, and here at Rti. His written works on cinema and culture have appeared in Crossing (換日線), UNITAS (聯合文學), Modern Art+ (現代美術+), and even a high school textbook.

In his free time, Wanson enjoys reading novels and watching films centred on historical narratives. He also has a strong interest in linguistics, art history, and travel.
