Amanda Stephens was born and raised in Seattle, WA (USA), to a family that read together often, and debated those stories even more often. She graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in English, focused in Creative & Technical Writing. It was during that time that she began to pursue her love of stories, especially myths, legends, and folklore. Less than half a year after graduating, she moved to Taipei, Taiwan where she’s stayed ever since! 

In her free time you may find her looking for new, interesting bars, and eateries around Taipei. She also loves all kinds of games: board games, video games, even tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons with her friends. On the rare occasion where she decides to spend the day at home, you can expect that she’ll be bothering her cat, Dandelion, or perhaps drawing.
