Hanna is American by birth and Taiwanese by blood, spending her childhood split between her grandparents’ place in Keelung and a small town in the Bible Belt. She holds a BA in English with a concentration in linguistics and took courses at National Taiwan Normal University to achieve functional literacy in Mandarin. She taught adult immigrants to the United States English as a second language for two years, endured the corporate world for four, and came to Rti having always had an interest in media and finding an opportunity to join the English programming service in 2024.

When not at work, she’s often found reading, attempting to execute family recipes, or knitting while taking in an old movie. Her friends and family members live under constant threat of receiving one of her handmade items. She has also been an avid weightlifter since 2018 and is very muscular when no one is looking.
