Former Examination Yuan VP Lee I-yang appointed new representative to Japan

The Presidential Office has announced the appointment of former Examination Yuan Vice President Lee I-yang (李逸洋) as the new representative to Japan.

 

Lee, 69, was born in Keelung City and holds a Political Science master&39;s (蔡英文) term as president, Lee served as Civil Service Protection and Training Commission chairman as well as vice president and presidential advisor at the Examination Yuan.

 

Lee’s appointment follows Frank Hsieh’s (謝長廷) return to Taiwan, concluding his eight-year tenure as representative to Japan.
