Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil is leading a delegation on a visit to Taiwan. The group arrived on Monday, June 1, and were met at Taoyuan Airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Wu Chih-chung (吳志中).

Vystrčil stated earlier that the group arrived in Taiwan at the invitation of Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu (韓國瑜) and plans to meet with Taiwanese lawmakers from various parties to engage in dialogue. During their stay in Taiwan, the group will also meet with President Lai Ching-te (賴清德), Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴), ministers, as well as representatives from the fields of industry, academia, and culture.

In a press conference at the Czech Senate on May 28, Vystrčil said that the visit is well-planned in terms of establishing connections and expanding bilateral cooperation.
