United States Economic Affairs Under Secretary Jacob Helberg met with American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Director Raymond Greene in Taiwan, afterwards taking to social media to share Taiwan and the United States’ plans to secure critical supply chains.

This Wednesday, August 5, Helberg, who is a key driver of the U.S. Department of State’s initiative among allies and trusted partners on AI and supply chain security, Pax Silica, posted a photo of himself with Greene on X.

He wrote that Taiwan and the U.S. are partnering to secure the critical supply chains driving the “AI revolution.” He also says the State Department knows that securing American prosperity starts with securing its economic future.
