Taiwan reported zero new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. It was also the 15th straight day of no new domestic cases.
The total number of cases rests at 429, of which just 13% (55 cases) are domestic. The vast majority -- 343 cases -- are imported, while an additional 31 are from a cluster infection on board a navy ship. So far, six people have died of COVID-19 in Taiwan, and 290 have recovered. The rest are being treated in isolation wards.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) also reported on the 460 people who returned from Hubei on April 20 and 21. It said that five people are being treated, one is accompanying a patient, and the rest are in quarantine.
The center is also monitoring 1,916 people who came in contact with the 31 confirmed cases on board the Panshih navy ship. A total of 585 people are in home isolation. Of those, 254 have tested negative while the rest are still undergoing tests. Another 1,331 people have been asked to monitor their health.
