As voters headed to polling stations around the country on election day, the National Police Agency (NPA) recorded a total of 92 election violations nationwide.

According to the latest statistics from the NPA, as of 4 p.m., there were three cases of interference with voting, and 18 incidents of voters tearing up, taking out, or displaying their ballots. Another 49 cases involved unauthorized photography of ballots and carrying mobile phones or photographic equipment. Other recorded violations involved criminal and illegal activity.

The NPA says that local election authorities will determine whether these violations breached election laws. It says despite the incidents, the overall election procedures went smoothly, with no significant disruptions reported. Law enforcement will maintain security until the conclusion of the ballot counting process.
