Taiwan’s representative to Germany, Klement Gu (谷瑞生), told German and international students this week that Taiwan has become an indispensable global partner despite facing constant threats from China, declaring that “without Taiwan, there would be no AI today.” Gu made the remarks on Tuesday, August 4, at an advanced training camp hosted by the Academic Association for Security Studies (BSH),  Germany’s largest student organization focused on security policy in Berlin.
