The Digital Ministry released guidelines on July 1 stating that civil servants classified as “key personnel” must not carry any official equipment or personal devices containing official data when traveling to China or other high-risk regions in order to reduce the risk of cross-border cybersecurity breaches and official data leaks. Cyber Security Administration (ACS) Director-General Tsai Fu-Longe (蔡福隆) said this Tuesday that these measures can further serve as a reference for business travelers.
