One of the world's most prominent primatologists will be visiting Taiwan soon, and a two-day conference all about otters will take place in Kinmen, Taiwan. Also, throw out everything you thought you knew about surviving a dangerous venomous snake bite, and potty training dogs.

Formosa Fauna is back this week to entertainingly educate you about animals both in Taiwan and abroad! Spend the next 20 minutes listening to this episode and feeding your noggin with fun facts about the animal kingdom so you can become smarter than all of your friends.

The Kinmen Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation Association is hosting a two-day conference all about Kinmen’s Eurasian otters and the efforts to keep them safe and thriving. While the conference has its academic side, the organizers want it to be open and accessible to everyone.

Want to share your own story and have it read on air? Send your story (photos welcome) to tristan@rti.org.tw!

See you every week for Formosa Fauna Fridays!
