On Tuesday, President Lai Ching-te awarded the Order of Brilliant Star with Special Grand Cordon to former Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, Markéta Pekarová Adamová. The award recognizes her significant contributions to strengthening Taiwan-Czech relations.
